1. Console

The Xiom 1000 console is composed of integrated components allowing for quick changes to the system's parameters on-the-fly.

This means that each user can have their own custom settings for unique situations if desired. One user can set up for concrete and quickly adjust the settings on the console to apply coatings to cardboard without ever shutting down the system.

2. Powder Feeder

The Xiom 1000 powder feeder is more than just an empty can! The highly advanced powder feeder infuses the powdered coatings with air, creating a 'fluid' mixture.

This mixture of powder and air is then drawn out of the canister by a specialized venturi. The coatings, suspended in air, are then transferred through the material delivery hose to the gun.

3. Gun

The gun is where all of the magic happens. A mixture of oxygen and propane creates a flame that extends from the tip of the gun.

The fluidized coating then passes through this flame, melts, and hits the surface that's being coated. The coating creates a thin film and simultaneously flows outwards, bonds to the substrate, and quickly solidifies to create a smooth, continuous plastic coating.

What Isn't included with the Xiom 1000 system?

• an air compressor delivering a minimum of 20CFM at 90 PSI of dry air
• preferably a 100 lb. propane cylinder, but many people use a regular 20 lb. barbeque tank
• an oxygen cylinder, available at any welding gas supplier
• a stand or a cart to mount the system to
• personal protective equipment, including proper ventilation
• *coatings
